A study and sketch of a Chihuahua with a houseplant

A study in rough pastels and ink of a Chihuahua with a houseplant This little fellow is just a study. I'm still toying with new styles to do this series in.

Coloring book page of a chihuahua puppy with a houseplant

His outline in black with no color could make a good coloring book page, but not sure if I'm "feeling" this series as much. I'm going for a very Belle Epoch 'art poster' feel of the 1890's.

A gif of a few of the layers. I've been so busy this year thus far with making video. I've set some goals for myself, as I am want to do in a new year, and it's making it a bit harder to get things from the studio to Hive, however, I promised myself at least 5 posts a week on my blog, so I'm hoping to keep that up.

I'm currently jotting down the story for my latest character in my Animal Series and hope to get that out this week.

How is everyone else doing with their New Year's Resolutions? I always HOPE to use January as the test bed to see how realistic my New Year goals may be and how best to readjust them.

I hope all of you find a moment in your day to indulge in your own passions and if you do New Year's resolutions, keep at it.
