Another Rabbit Portrait in the style of Beatrix Potter : Regina Sourfoot

A Portrait of a stern bunny rabbit school teacher in the style of Beatrix Potter by artist Donna Davis Art

Some considered Regina Sourfoot to be a bit of a curmudgeon; some called her a dour spinster. Her student's called her Miss Sourpuss, tho never to her face.

She considered herself a good school mistress, tough but fare. In the depth of her fierce ways was love for learning, but she never suffered fools, did Miss Reina Sourfoot...A Spinster with determination.

Some of the layers for Miss Sourfoot in Gif form.

I'm having fun peopling this world so far. I felt a dour stern school mistress was needed. I could see her not taking anything from her pupils, if they were to give sass. She'd be quick to tug an ear if there was an unruly student amongst her class. I'm considering adding other animals to this world, but the rabbits are rather fun just now.I could see cats, hedgehogs, maybe a mouse or perhaps a slick ferret. We'll see. It's a fun departure from my other animal pieces and really delving into my alternate tech world sort of lead me to this world of human like Animalia.

I think she's adorable on things as well and it makes me smile when I think of her on a cute bag staring sternly at other people on the bus or train as you go about your day.

Or she chastises your guests, just before flopping down on your nice new sofa, in her form; reminding them NOT to put their shoes on your furniture.

I hope you enjoyed another portrait in my animal world. I'm already sketching out a few more ideas and I've a few more inked up. It's a good distraction just now, as I'm busy working on my garden layout for Spring.

Do find a moment in your day to indulge in your own passions and remember to stay creative.
